Pursuant to General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and other relevant legislation we provide basic information about the processing of personal data and about your rights related to the processing of personal data:

This statement is addressed namely to our clients, employees, contractual partners, resellers of our educational software, collaborators and all other persons whose personal data are processed by the Corinth s.r.o. in connection with the subject of its activities.

In this statement, the Controller provides you with basic information about the processing of personal data and about your rights related to the processing of your personal data.

We protect your personal data to the maximum extent possible corresponding with the technical level of the means used and the likely risks to your rights and freedoms. There are strict rules stipulating who can have access to your personal data and which personal data they can process.

We would like to ask you to read the information below carefully. If something is not clear enough for you, we will be happy to explain any concept to you. If you do not agree with the scope or processing of your personal data, you can take the steps listed below to protect your rights.

We divide our Privacy Policy into tree important categories: Website User, Website App & Offline User and Partner or Reseller. 

We also establish high standards of personal data protection to children, because our specific solution as student access or mass registration is in common with sharing and processing data of our young users. We ask you, as the child's legal or other representative, to clearly inform the child about the processing of his personal data as well as about his rights related to it.
 

Definition:

Before we start with our Privacy Policy articles, we prefer to define main term:

1. 'Personal data'  means any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person ('data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

2. 'Processing'  means any operation or a set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated shall mean, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;

3. 'Controller' means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the Controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law;

4. 'Processor' means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the Controller;

5. 'User' means a natural person who registers to or visits any of the Controller's web pages, applications and services,

6. 'Partner' means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, cooperates with the Company as a customer who has purchased our products and services. Partner also means a natural or legal person which acts as a reseller or otherwise enters into cooperation with the Company, mainly on the basis of a contractual relationship.

7. 'Recipient'  means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients; the processing of those data by those public authorities shall be in compliance with the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes of the processing;

8. 'Third party'  means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the Controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data;

9. 'Consent'  of the data subject means any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her;

10. 'GDPR' means a Regulation in EU law 2016/679 on data protection and privacy in the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA). The GDPR is an important component of EU privacy law and of human rights law, in particular Article 8(1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. 
 

How we collect and use personal information:

We primarily collect personal information about our customers, Users, Partners and employees.  

In this article, we would like to explain to you how and what data we process in the four most important cases:

  • as a web user
  • as a user of the online version of our application
  • as a user of the offline version of the application
  • as our Partner

In each case we specify more information about the processing activity, which data we collect, for what purpose and for how long a period of time we process the data. 
 

Website user:

We constantly improve our website experience in all language mutations. That's the main reason why we use Cookies and why we have a webform for our customers, partners, potential partners and for everyone who is interested in our solution and needs help.

Cookies:

We use "cookies“ on this website.  A web browser can store a small piece of data known as a cookie. By utilizing cookies, we can improve your website experience and identify repeat visitors. Additionally, cookies can track and target user interests, leading to an enhanced experience on our site. Overall, cookies simplify website usage, provide authentic online experiences, offer valuable information, and allow the operator to monitor functionality, prevent abuse, and ensure adequate service provision. Enabling cookies is not a mandatory requirement. It is possible to modify browser settings to either block cookies or receive notifications when a website sends cookies. Although most browsers allow cookies by default, it is possible to alter these settings to restrict automatic cookie acceptance and instead request prompt approval.

Cookies themselves do not identify the individual user, we can process pseudonymous data from the device which the website uses, such as IP address, browser type, operating system (language), time of server request and which page was viewed or used.

The purpose of data processing is to ensure features of the website and to allow our users to see all the information in the best digital form possible. 

Recipients of the personal data are employees of the Company performing website services and potentially employees of the Partners providing changes on the website.
 

Webform

On our website we have a form available under this link to be filled out.

We use our webform primarily for option of inquiry, option for cooperation, option for customer or technical support or other questions of our users. 

Personal data processed: name, e-mail, phone number.

We also can process the name of the organization and other questions which are optional.

The purpose of processing this data is to have the necessary information for answering the completed form. We are a data controller of this information, and the processing is managed by Pipedrive, Inc. Processor does not share this information with any third party other than to store the information in our cloud-hosted databases. We rely on a contract basis to process your personal information for purposes of fulfilling your request to receive our answer.

Recipients of the personal data are employees of the Company performing customer service and business relationship and employees of the Controller performing related tasks.

Period for which the personal data will be stored: 5 years
 

Online app user:

Cookies:

Similarly to our website user we also collect cookies from our online app user. Detailed information about the cookies is available in the upper text. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you do not need to log in more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. 

Registration on the website of the app:

Our users who would like to use our online app - Corinth Online on online.corinth3d.com must register themselves by Corinth interface or sign up by Google, Microsoft, i3LEARNINGHUB or Clever account and then apply your license key if it is necessary.   

Important notice for sharing user accounts:

By providing their email address, users assume responsibility not to share it with others for misuse of the services. This is important as the email address is often used as a primary means of communication and identification for the user on the service or website. Any misuse of the email address by others could result in unauthorized access to the user's account, sensitive information, or other potential security issues.
Additionally, the user who registers the email address is responsible for logging in using the provided email address. This means that the user must ensure the security of their email account, such as setting up a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication if available. Failure to do so could result in unauthorized access to the user's account and potentially cause harm to the user or the service or website.
Personal data processed: email address, role and after registration user can apply your name as well. If you register via third parties, we also can process your language preference and profile photo. 

The purposes of the processing this data are:

  • Provide services through the application,
  • Establish contact information, 
  • Statistical purposes for our developing and sales department,
  • Marketing purposes.

Legal basis for the data processing is consent of the user by checking our appropriate button. 

Recipients of the personal data are primary employees of the Company developing the app, ensuring customer services, sales department of the Company and marketing department.

Period for which the personal data will be stored:  until our user withdraws his or her consent or until the user is inactive more than 2 years since last login.     

We store this data on a cloud computing platform, Microsoft Azure. All the data about the system of our app meets technical and organizational measures for the elimination of a security incident. 
 

Support & Improving the application

Support and improvement of the application are important as they ensure that the application is functioning correctly and meeting the needs of its users. Continuously improving the application with bug fixes, feature enhancements, and user feedback can help to increase user engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Providing reliable and efficient support to users who encounter issues or have questions is also crucial. Company uses tools by third parties for that. These tools enable developers of the Company to identify potential errors and issues, and gain insights into how users are interacting with the application. This information is then used to make data-driven decisions and improve the application's design, functionality, and performance.
Additionally, the ability to analyze user behavior and identify patterns helps to improve the customer support experience. This is because it allows customer support teams to anticipate user needs and provide timely assistance. The use of third-party tools also makes it easier for developers to track and identify errors and other imperfections in the application. This information is used to make improvements and ensure that the application runs smoothly.
Furthermore, using third-party tools for analytics and observing user behavior leads to a better user experience. Developers can gain insights into user needs and preferences, which can be used to tailor the application to better suit those needs. This ultimately leads to increased user satisfaction and engagement with the application. 

The purposes of the processing this data are:

  • improving application development, 
  • enhancing customer support, 
  • providing a better user experience.

We are a data controller of this information, and the processing could be managed also by our Processors which are Mixpanel, Inc., Smartlook.com, s.r.o. and Slack Technologies, LLC. Controller does not share this information with any third party other than to store the information and provide support or analyze patterns for developing.

Personal data processed: user name or e-mail address, mobile phone, specific data related to user activity (last login, used feature, most frequent models, HW details etc.).

Legal basis is our processing is legitimate interest for improving the application and consent by checking our appropriate bottom. 

Recipients of the personal data are employees of the Company performing customer service and business relationship and employees of the Controller performing related tasks.

Period for which the personal data will be stored: Until the conclusion of the request or up to a period of 5 years.
 

Offline app user:

Installation of the offline app:

Our offline app hereinafter referred to as Corinth 3D is a solution which is working on Windows platform, installation is possible by Microsoft store or by our installation package available on our website. More details about the installation are available here.  

Personal data processed: IP address, and meta data available about the device.   

Legal basis for the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract and ensure security policy for our user and our license policy. 

Purpose of the processing is to smoothly install the app for our users. 

For the duration of using the application we store the data, after inactivity for more than 5 years, we delete all personal data.

Support & Improving the application:

As already mentioned with the online version of the application, we also try to constantly improve the Corinth 3D application and provide the best possible technical support. Even in this case, we process the personal data of our users.

Personal data processed: name, e-mail, phone number, specific data related to user activity (last login, used feature, most frequent models, HW details etc.).

The purposes of the processing this data are:

  • improving application development, 
  • enhancing customer support, 
  • providing a better user experience.

We are a data controller of this information, and the processing could be managed also by our Processors which is mainly Slack Technologies, LLC. Controller does not share this information with any third party other than to store the information and provide support or analyze patterns for developing.

Legal basis is our processing is legitimate interest for improving the application and consent by checking our appropriate button.  

Recipients of the personal data are employees of the Company performing customer service and business relationship and employees of the Controller performing related tasks.

Period for which the personal data will be stored: Until the conclusion of the request or up to a period of 5 years when the request was first raised.

Partner:

Based on the performance of the contract We collect personal data to fulfill all requirements that are necessary in terms of product licensing, provision of other support services and possibly other business cooperation. 

Personal data processed: name, name at birth, date of birth, permanent address, job title, other addresses if it is necessary, e-mail address, phone number, bank account number or other invoice information, customer or reseller ID. 

The purpose of processing these data are entering into, performing, and terminating a contract, as well as offering a contract changes. Data processing shall be considered lawful even if the processing is necessary in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. 

Legal basis for processing these data are necessary for the performance of a contract to Partner. We also need to process this kind of personal data to fulfill our other legal duties. Under several laws (e.g. tax and accounting laws), we have to process personal data stipulated above. 

Recipients of the personal data are employees of the Company performing customer and business relationship, internal or external accountants and employees of the Controller performing related tasks.

Period for which the personal data will be stored: 5 years after the end of the business relationship or 5 years after the termination of the contract.

Direct marketing:

We provide you products and services in accordance with the terms of conditions available here.

Please note that under the contract you may receive emails with technical and operational notices regarding Company service functionality. These notices are part of our communication with you as a party to the contract. The purpose and legal basis of the processing of your personal data in this case therefore involves performance of the Company service contract (as we mentioned in the previous article). Such emails do not constitute “direct marketing” as it is mentioned in the previous article, but you may opt-out anytime.

Your personal information will be stored in our electronic database kept with a company that provides us with a data repository, which, however, is managed directly and exclusively by us. Based on our legitimate interest, as specified above, your personal data will only be used through Controller's services to send you product offers, whether these involve new or existing products or services.

Personal data processed: name, email address, geolocation based on your IP address and name of an organization.

The legal basis for processing is a legitimate interest of the Company or based on consent.

If you do not wish to receive our product and service feature offerings, you can simply opt out in the settings of your user account or click the unsubscribe link provided in each e-mail containing our offerings.

Social media, website blog and online webinars of the Company:

Social media like Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn provide an excellent platform for promoting our products and services, interaction with our audience, and increasing brand awareness. Our website blog is also important for us, we publish important information about the product features, news about the Company etc. We also offer online webinars for our customers, mainly via MS Teams. These webinars are also available on our Youtube channel. On each platform mentioned we have set uniform rules which are listed below:

  • Questions posed and inquiries made on Company's social media sites do not constitute an official complaint
  • The personal data shared by visitors on Company's social media sites are not managed by Company.
  • Company is not accountable for any content or comment infringing legislation shared by users of social media sites. Company is not liable for any error, malfunction, or issue due to changes in system operation on social media sites.
     

Rights of your personal data

Right to object:

You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. If you object to our processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, we will cease processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes once we receive your objection.

In the objection, just indicate your username and include the text “I hereby object to the processing of my personal data for direct marketing purposes” and your signature. We will inform you without undue delay on how your request has been handled.

Please note that the right to object cannot be exercised to make us stop processing the personal data we necessarily need to perform the contract or to fulfill our legal obligations.

Right to be informed:

The data subject shall have the right to be informed of the requirements and conditions of the processing of personal data prior to the collecting and processing of his or her personal data.

Right of access by the data subject:

You can ask us at any time to confirm whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed and if so, for what purpose, to what extent, to whom they are transmitted and for how long we will be processing them. You also have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data, with the initial provision of such data being free of charge.

Right to rectification:

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including means of providing a supplementary statement. 


Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten'):

At any time you may request the erasure of your personal data if:

  • they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, 
  • the processing is unlawful, 
  • you have objected to the processing, and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for processing such data; 
  • we are obliged to do so under law; or 
  • you withdraw the consent to processing you may have granted us,

Right to restriction of processing:

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the Controller restriction of processing where any of the grounds described in the GDPR applies.

Notification obligation regarding rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing:

The controller shall communicate any rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing carried out in accordance with GDPR to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. The controller shall inform the data subject about those recipients if the data subject requests it.

Right to data portability:

if we process your data in an automated manner and based on your consent or for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, you have the right to request that the data be transmitted directly to another controller,

Submission of a request of a data subject, measures taken by the Controller:

Our activities related to the processing of personal data are overseen by the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz) in the Czech republic, a member state of the European Union. This Office, just like yourself, will be informed if, despite our best efforts and all the data security measures in place, your personal data are leaked, misused, or lost.

If we have well-founded doubts about the identity of the natural person submitting the request, he or she may request further information necessary to confirm the identity of the data subject.
